As Justin and the Walkers attempt to cope with the realization that Justin will be going back to war, Kitty stumbles into an opportunity that could keep Justin out of Iraq, but jeopardize her career.

Sarah, Kevin and Thomas head out on an ill-fated road trip that ends up bringing to light more shocking information surrounding William Walker's secret life. Meanwhile, Kitty interviews Senator McCallister and Justin admits to why he joined the service after returning home from a hospital stay.

Sarah, Tommy, and Saul try to get their hands on some money to save the family business, but in doing so the trio makes a huge mistake. Meanwhile, Nora goes over the top in holiday decorating and in holiday cheer to compensate for all of the loss the Walker family has endured during the year. Elsewhere, Kevin and Justin go up against the U.S. Army in order to keep Justin home.

The Walker family unites for Justin's Family Day at rehab. However, it turns out the Walkers need more therapy than Justin. Meanwhile, Sarah and Joe butt heads over how best to discipline Gabe after he is caught stealing alcohol. Elsewhere, Nora tries to help at the company, but only causes more grief; and Kitty debates whether or not to work for Senator McCallister.

When it is revealed that William Walker and Holly Harper had an illegitimate daughter, Rebecca, the ramifications shake the Walker family.

Trying to get the family back to normal, Nora decides to invite her deceased husband's illegitimate love child, Rebecca, to a family dinner. Later, Nora has a romantic encounter with a college professor. Meanwhile, Senator McCallister gives Kitty a surprise introduction that leads Kitty and the Senator to rethink their relationship.

Nora's love life begins to look up when her intelligent, charming professor asks her to a faculty event. Kitty is sent to Senator McCallister's hometown to interview people who knew the Senator, including his high school sweetheart, and Sarah tags along for a weekend away. Meanwhile, Chad is able to come to grips with his sexuality -- at Kevin's expense -- and Justin steps up as an older brother in order to protect his half-sister, Rebecca.

The Walkers, as we know, are very competitive with each other, but that's nothing compared to their rivalry with their "perfect" neighbors, the Joneses. But first, when Kitty finally meets Robert's gay brother Jason, she gets a little twinkle in her eye. At Easter dinner, the family gently needles Kitty ... Nah, these are the Walkers.

One little kiss. Big drama. The fallout begins when Rebecca swears Justin to secrecy about Joe kissing her. Justin asks for more details. Perhaps it was purely platonic? Not a chance. And it's a secret he partially keeps. Justin runs straight to Joe and gives an ultimatum. Either Joe tell Sarah ... or Justin will. What choice does Joe have? He has to do it.

The family comes together for the opening of Tommy and Holly's newest business venture -- a vineyard. Nora and Mark's relationship continues to grow, but Mark makes a potentially devastating mistake when he kisses Holly.

At Tommy's new vineyard, Julia has given birth to her twin babies seven weeks early. . But the twins are now in a hospital far from L.A.
